controls machines for cutting, milling, lasering and engraving
Many machine manufacturers - Many machine types - Many materials
SMART PRODUCTION: Individualized serial production of printed and unprinted materials, e. g. from paper, cardboard, Plexiglas, plastic, laminate, fabric, clothing, aluminum,...
Automate Print & Cut Workflows
Workflow with QR Code
The printed QR codes are scanned with the camera and the appropriate file is loaded automatically. Our QR code module automates and accelerates production.
Import files automatically
Jobs can be imported using a barcode scanner and linked to predefined output profiles.
Flexibly detects video marks and objects
Printed mark
Hole in the fabric
Cardboard edge as mark
The OptiScout registration* recognizes video marks on a wide range of materials with a CCD camera..
*) Registration - Camera-based adjustment of print and cutting contour
Macro Editor - Automate Individual Processes
Program functions are integrated into a macro and executed with a mouse click.
Quick Layer - Influence Output Directly
The Quick Layers allow a direct selection of methods, tools and materials. The output order can be selected; likewise the machine can be changed.
True Shape* Nesting - Make the most of your material
Object entanglement reduces material costs through the use of powerful nesting algorithms.
Border distance, part distance, pre-rotation and rotation angle are just some of the adjustable
parameters.
Nesting (Basic) - the integrated basic module
Nesting (Pro) - the optional high-end module
*) True Shape - The vector contour of the objects is used for the optimization.
Simulation of the output order
The traverse path of the tool

can be simulated before output. The aim is to calculate this path as optimally as possible.
From several preset sorting algorithms, the best traverse path is determined automatically.
Material Database
The material database is part of OptiScout's standard scope of services. Its function is the inventory of all materials, methods and machine and tool parameters.
The database server has an interface for the feedback of order data after production. This information can either be reported to an MES / MIS system or saved as a JSON / XML job ticket.
Feed Optimization (Smartfeed)
The aim of the feed optimization is 'minimal segmentation' of object contours. In order to achieve this objective, device feed and segment lines are moved dynamically.
Segment Helpers
In textile cutting of oversized objects, so-called segmentation helpers are used. They prevent the formation of runs.
Methods of Overcut Compensation
The goal of overcut compensation is to optimize the cutting quality. Depending on the tool used, different compensation methods are employed.
Milling Tool Radius Compensation with Cleaning Pass
The task of the radius compensation with subsequent so-called cleaning pass lies in the dimensional accuracy of the workpiece and in the optimization of the surface.
Laser Cutting Gap Correction
The goal is the exact dimensional accuracy of the lasered object. The deviation caused by the cutting gap of the laser is compensated in the correct direction before output.
Start Tool Paths - Auxiliary Paths for Milling and Lasering
The task of Start Tool Paths is the optimization of the immersion process of the milling tool. The point of immersion should remain invisible during the milling of the object.
